Gum Disease and obesity

Healthy teeth, healthy you!

Evidence is showing a link between gum infection and obesity and it is a major concern especially in young people.

It is believed that it is due to the inflammation created in the blood stream by the active bacteria in the gum pockets and the body's attempt to fight the infection in the mouth.

Solutions are excellent home care, especially deep flossing of the gum pockets and regular dental cleanings to remove hard bacterial deposits from the teeth that the brush and floss will not be able to remove.

Live, love....floss!!

When I called concerned about some discomfort, I was in that day. They care about the patient and tell you exactly what is going on before, during and after. I would recommend her  to everyone. I even take my whole family.” - See more at: https://plus.google.com/103512272338343895553/post
