Dr. Lisa Lindström completed her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology in 1988 at the University of Toronto. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1993, also from the University of Toronto. She spent one year at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto working as a dental resident. Dr. Lindström is licensed and certified by the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, and was awarded as a Fellow at the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2010. Her practise emphasizes Implant Dentistry and Cosmetic Makeovers with special interest in Periodontics and Bone grafting research. She attends lectures frequently and is very active in continuing education seminars. She is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, the Crown and Bridge Study Club and a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She has also trained at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (2002), the Implant Institute for Hands on Training (2010), and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (2010 onwards).   She continually takes advanced dental courses on new procedures to offer the most thoroughly researched and up-to-date dental techniques and procedures for her patients as they evolve.

 

Dr. Lindström has been practicing dentistry in and around the Greater Toronto Area for the past 20 years, including 15 years of owning her own successful practice in Georgetown, Ontario. Now she is happy to offer her services in her brand new Toronto office, in the St Clair/Yorkville/Ave and Dav area and surrounding neighbourhoods. Commuters can conveniently park in our heated free visitor parking and have their dental appointment while the traffic clears.

 

Dr. Lindström is passionate about provideing thorough meticulous dentistry in all her various treatments: from cosmetic makeovers with porcelain veneers and crowns/bridges to the rapidly advancing field of dental implants to simple check-ups and fillings. She is dedicated to excellence every step of the way, and is aware of the range of lifestyle cirumstances that can affect each individual's treatment choices

 

She has two lovely children, a daughter and son, both in University. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, skiing, cycling, and traveling.  She has continued her education in general practice, implant training and porcelain cosmetics and bite relations in Las Vegas, California, New York, Chicago and London under Drs. William Dickerson, James F. Garry, Bob Jankelson, Hom Lay Wang and Kenneth Hebel.

 

Dr. Lisa Lindström is President and owner of the practice "Dentistry on the Avenue" in Toronto, Ontario, near Yorkville, Ave and Dav, and St. Clair. The aim of equiping this new technology center was to provide patients with superb comfort and state-of-art modern care, in a relaxing, non-confrontational environment.

 

Dr. Lindström offers treatment in all aspects of general dentistry with an emphasis on Implant, Esthetic and Reconstructive Dentistry and Bone Graft research and Lasers.
